Eloise Custom Roman Shades
Eloise pairs a softly textured linen-blend weave with the gentle folds of a made-to-measure Roman shade. Fine crosswoven threads give the fabric a quiet, tactile character, while its substantial 350 gsm weight brings definition to the drape without a bold pattern.
Tailor the shade to your window with your choice of color, fold and lift system. Choose unlined fabric for softly filtered daylight, Privacy Lining to reduce light, or Blackout Lining for greater light blockage through the fabric. The finished effect depends on the lining, mount and light gaps around the shade.

Product Details
Texture & Drape
Eloise has a fine crosswoven texture with subtle irregularity in the threads. The pale fabric shown in the photographs takes on a soft glow in daylight, with a gently curved lower fold that gives the window a relaxed finish. The 350 gsm linen blend has a substantial hand rather than a lightweight, sheer feel.

Configuration Choices
- Lift systems: Cordless, corded continuous loop or motorized lift.
- Fold styles: Pleated Fold for a more tailored finish, or Soft Fold / Relaxed Fold for a softer drape.
- Shade operation: Top Down Bottom Up is listed as an option for Eloise. Confirm the available lift combination and size limits for this configuration before ordering; the lift ranges in Dimensions are not a separate TDBU size specification.
- Mount: Inside or outside mount. No-drill inside mounting is available within the limits listed in Dimensions.
- Lining: Unlined, Privacy Lining or Blackout Lining. Blackout lining blocks light through the lined fabric, not around the entire window.
- Side covers: Optional covers conceal the operating mechanism. Coverage depends on the selected configuration.
Finish & Light Coverage
Without a valance, the fabric falls over the front of the headrail in a waterfall style. On an outside mount it can sit 2 inches or more from the wall, so plan adequate overlap. A side light gap of approximately 1/8–1/4 inch can remain for operation; an outside mount with overlap can reduce visible gaps but does not guarantee total blackout. Fabric remains over part of the window when the shade is fully raised.
Coordinating Multiple Shades
Order shades for the same room together to reduce dye-lot differences. Pleat sizes can vary with shade height and lift system. If aligned folds are important, contact us before ordering rather than changing the measured height of individual windows.
Dimensions
Size Ranges
All measurements below are in inches and listed as width × height. These are Eloise's current published lift ranges; do not apply them as confirmed limits for every fold or TDBU combination.
- Cordless: 14–78 wide × 14–96 high.
- Corded: 14–96 wide × 14–96 high.
- Motorized: 14–96 wide × 14–96 high.
- No-drill inside mount: 14–78 wide × 14–96 high, listed for cordless, corded and motorized lifts. Minimum window depth: 2.5 inches.
- Inside-mount depth: The current minimum is 2.5 inches. Minimum mounting depth does not guarantee that the entire assembly will sit flush; check clearance for the selected hardware, handles and locks.
Measuring for Inside Mount
Measure the clear opening width at the top, middle and bottom; submit the smallest width. Measure height at the left, center and right; submit the largest height. Enter the net opening size without subtracting for fit. Production applies a 3/16-inch width deduction, with an approximate deduction tolerance of ±1/8 inch.
Measuring for Outside Mount
Measure the full area to cover, including trim, then add 2–3 inches of overlap on each side where space allows. Measure height from the intended mounting point to the desired bottom edge. The existing recommendation is to mount 10–12 inches above the frame where space allows for the raised stack; the actual stack depends on shade height and fold. Check handles and other obstructions. The inside-mount deduction does not apply to outside-mount measurements.
Use measurements to the nearest 1/8 inch. If between eighth-inch marks, round down for width and up for height. Measure every window separately.
Headrail, Brackets & Covers
- Cordless / corded headrail: Shade width × 1 9/16 high × 1 3/16 deep.
- Motorized headrail: 2 3/4 high × 2 deep.
- Cordless / corded outside bracket: 1 3/16 high × 1 4/5 deep.
- Cordless / corded inside bracket: 3/5 deep.
- Motorized bracket: 1 1/4 high × 2 5/8 deep.
- Side covers: Cordless / corded: 1.97 × 1.97. Motorized: 1.97 × 3.54.
- Hardware material: Metal.
Materials
Face Fabric
15% linen and 85% polyester, 350 gsm. This composition and weight describe the face fabric, not the lining, headrail or complete shade assembly. The weave has a softly textured surface and subtle thread variation.
Lining & Appearance
- Unlined: Allows the brightest filtered daylight through the fabric.
- Privacy Lining: Reduces light transmission for a more enclosed feel.
- Blackout Lining: Provides greater light blockage through the fabric and can make the face color appear darker. Edge gaps remain dependent on the mount and fit.
The lining, cord shroud and rear rod pockets are generally light cream and may contrast with darker face colors. Fabric can vary slightly between dye lots and from samples; light exposure can also change its appearance over time. The linen-blend face fabric should not be described as an entirely natural-fiber shade.

Motor Options
- Standard battery motor: Remote control only, without app or voice control. The current listed operating noise is 35 dB. Compatible 1-channel or 15-channel remotes are sold separately.
- Zigbee motor: App and voice integration depends on a compatible Zigbee hub or smart speaker and the chosen ecosystem. The current options list Alexa, SmartThings and Google Assistant; the required hub is not included. Confirm the complete setup before ordering.
- Matter over Thread motor: The current option lists Alexa, SmartThings, Apple Home and Google Assistant. Confirm the controller, Thread network and accessory requirements for your chosen ecosystem and motor before ordering.
Controllers
- 1-channel remote: Up/down control for a single shade.
- 15-channel remote: Individual channel selection and group control through channel 00, for up to 15 shades as currently listed. A display shows the selected channel.
- 15-channel LCD wall controller: Wireless, USB-C rechargeable controller for individual or group operation of up to 15 shades. Listed display functions include position, channel, signal and power information; available functions depend on motor compatibility.
- Ordering: At least one compatible remote controller is required per motorized order and is sold separately. Confirm controller compatibility with your selected motor.
Battery & Charging Accessories
The existing motor specification lists approximately 6 hours to charge and up to 600 operations per charge. Actual runtime varies with shade size, load and use; this is not a guaranteed six-month interval. The current headrail specification places the charging port on the right. Follow the selected motor's guide for charging and indicators; a red LED flashing 10 times is the low-charge signal listed in the current instructions.
- USB charging cable: 59 inches long with a USB-A connector, sold separately.
- Magnetic charging cable: 118.11 inches long with a 180° rotating connector, sold separately. Confirm motor compatibility.
- Power supply: USB wall plug or power bank is not included. Use a power supply suitable for the selected motor.
- Optional solar panel: 14.1 × 2.1 inches. Charging performance depends on sunlight and placement; confirm compatibility with the selected motor.
Installation
A printed installation guide is included. Standard bracket installation is estimated at 15–20 minutes, depending on the surface and configuration. Supplied screws are intended for installation through drywall into a stud or solid wood; other surfaces require appropriate fixings.
- Mark the bracket positions and check clearances using the included guide.
- Secure the brackets to the suitable mounting surface. For a no-drill mount, follow the separate instructions for that system.
- Clip the headrail securely into place, then test operation as instructed.
Do not pull the fabric open before installation or alter the rear lifting mechanism. Install any supplied cord-loop safety device according to the instructions. For a digital guide or configuration advice, contact lucohome@outlook.com.
Care Information
Cleaning
Wipe clean without soaking the shade. Do not immerse the fabric, headrail or motor in liquid. For heavier soiling, consult a window-treatment cleaning specialist. Minor creases from packing usually relax over several days after hanging. If using a garment steamer, work from the back without direct contact with the face fabric and keep steam away from the headrail, motor and controls.
Daily Operation
- Cordless: Use the intended operating point and follow the supplied lift instructions; do not tug individual folds or rear cords.
- Corded: Use the control loop rather than pulling the fabric. Keep the supplied loop safety device installed and the loop secured as instructed.
- Motorized: Operate with compatible controls; do not force the fabric by hand. Recharge according to the selected motor's guide and replace or recharge remote batteries as applicable.
Do not cut, untie or adjust the lifting cords or rear mechanism. Keep the assembly protected from moisture and avoid trapping the fabric against handles or other obstructions. Improper handling can damage the shade; see Shipping & Returns for the existing warranty exclusions.
